So I just found out from strawberry-transneu that Neocities IS responding to support emails now. Not mine for some reason, but I'm just glad the site hasn't been running on autopilot this whole time. They also finally put out a blog post for the first time in like 3 years! ...And it's about how Bing blocked every single person with a neocities.org URL from showing up in search. GFY Microsoft. (see blog.neocities.org)
To be fair I have seen a lot of questionable stuff on neocities, and it doesn't take a lot to get a domain flagged by any search engine to be excluded. It's one of the inherent risks of letting people upload whatever they want.
Perhaps I'm lucky then because I actually haven't seen anything questionable so far. It's sad that people ruined this subdomain for everyone, I can't imagine the Bing employees at Microsoft have enough time to come to an agreement with the Neocities team. But at the same time, they literally own one of the biggest search engines around. They SHOULD be able to tell the good Neocities sites from the bad ones like Googl

yehh.... but how many people do YOU know use bing? and, if you know anyone who uses bing, do they use more than like 5 (generous) websites?
