Solid read! I agree. I also think that to see beauty in things, we just have to pay very close attention, like really closely! When we do, we can notice how carefully everything is made and how we might have missed the meticulous details in ordinary things.

I wear scarves utilitarianly to keep warm, still thinking about this one beautiful scarf i found in a second hand store that I did not buy. It has been over five years. Everything is performative anyway, just wear it.
I love scarves & was going to buy this striped scarf yesterday at the thrift store, but the woman in front of me in line was buying a giant pile ( more than $100 ) of clothes & was taking forever. I had to leave to catch the bus before she finished. Even dreamt about the scarf last night, but oh well.
