Boy, not often that I re-upload my entire site. Bug fixes, accessibility and navigation improvements, other minor things.
welcome to the re-upload club. now that you've finally fixed everything, you can get to work fixing everything again
I'm really embarrassed about the Pride & Prejudice index page. Turns out none of the links have a closing tag.
I feel that. I have put pages into prettier.io and essentially gotten back, "YOUR CODE IS SO EFFED UP WE DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START."
@pudding Pro tip: You don't need closing tags if you're truly never finished with your thoughts.
@emily For what it's worth I took a quick look at the sources for a few of your pages. I wasn't scrutinizing, but I also didn't see anything that made me spontaneously burst into flames. So you're probably good.
did this have something to do with your RSS blasting my inbox with like 10 posts all at once the other day?
...I'm going to say no, the RSS feed I assembled with masking tape and glue sticks is flawless
If this even cracks the top 50 dumbest things you've ever done, you're killin' it, and also probably have a better written list than many.
The second-dumbest thing I ever did was, upon getting out of the boat to retrieve the fishing lure I cast on shore, telling my father to hold the rope currently tied to the boat so he wouldn't drift away from me.
@NoHappyNonsense I accidentally fat-finger-deleted your comment, I grant you one additional snark as recompense
i think my obvious earth-shattering original comment's deletion is proof enough that you have been rocked to your core
@Pudding Unfortunately that is just me, but as an unremarkable white guy I understand the mix-up.
1. Update syling 2. Update pages 3. Check pages 4. See page with new styling is entirely messed 5. Panic, take it all down 6. Why is it fine when I view it locally 7. Panic more 8. Remember to clear the stupid browser cache
Krunch day!!!
