One option is HTML frames. But if you don't want to use a static site generator you may consider eliminating sidebars altogether (my pages now require going back to home or a main subpage to peruse the primary list of inter-site links, which is only listed in one place)

I went with an Iframe on my current layout, I'll admit, not a fan. it's high maintenance and finicky. One thing neocities is lacking is support for content management, when I hosted my own site years ago, using a news/blog script made updating a breeze.

I wish there was some way to turn what I've got going on into a frames site, easily. Leave the sidebars as single files each, then the center would be new content, and maybe the header could be a frame too. IDK, that sounds like it's probably crazy. I'll figure something out lol. I just don't want to have "old site" and "new site". I'd prefer to update the site and integrate the current content as seamlessly as poss.

I might have to just copy/paste almost this entire site into a new thing for that tho and I should probably not bein drinking or high when I do that lol

@paintkiller, hm..wish i had more advice for you, frames aren't my strong suit, aside from iframes, I do remember frame sites back in the day, and it was possible to have multiple frames load independant html files, but i personally never went that route, good luck! looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
