I keep a list of stuff I wanna write and realized that 2/3 of the list right now is just about trash. in the literal sense. i don't know what this says about me. Anyway, here's a trash post.

I love picking up trash. Unfortunately not really in the altruistic sense as much as the selfish 'i can make use of that' sense. Would be fun to get room and board in exchange for cleaning up a neighbourhood

As someone who does this for a living, I can confirm, it is very satisfying.

this makes me think about taking up a volunteering role that's more tangible/physical in the way you describe. right now even my volunteering is very, like, services focused. helpful/impactful for sure but not very physical -- it's good for the soul i think to be able to directly see the change you're making. hmm.

29$ for 2 drinks is the norm here in Sydney Australia LOL (a drink an event is around 15-17) still hurt regardless

Oh so you have CHEAP beers out there. (I am also crying at the price.) The last time I got nitrous at the dentist I had them turn it down because I "felt like I was two edibles in and was having a good time and it's okay if I'm a LITTLE scared".

:( I want to read about biscuit, bad movies and $29 beer but the link sends me to the 404 page.

@divergentrays Hmmm not sure what that's all about. Everything seems to be in order

I love it. I'm ostracised and regularly peer-pressured because I've never been to 'after work drinks'. Hold the line!

Now you gotta try predicting the future based on the public transportation system in Finland. Named "Sporalogy" it's A horoscope method created by Finnish scientist Nils Mustelin in the 1980s.

Also, as long as you don't predict any pinapples in my future, I think I'm okay with this.

as someone with a very southern mother, i approve of this list. my favorite shania twain is i'm gonna getcha good. man i feel like a woman is a close second. my friends in college loved to use it in their drag show mixes.

i recently discovered a cd i had burned in middle school and "brokenheartsville" by joe nichols was on it. and tbh. i fuck with it. i could imagine a chappell roan cover of it sounding really nice.

@neopetgameboy Shania is a legend, I love her. Haven't heard that Joe Nichols song. These days I don't really listen to much country music. Will have to check it out.

Was happy to see Chattahoochee on here. My partner and I have it earmarked to be on our possible future wedding playlist, lol.

sibling relations always an interesting thing to reflect on especially if as someone not particularly emotionally Close with em (but in my case the only sister & youngest from a whole lineage of brothers [4 of em]. partly blaming my genderweirdness on this [halfjoke])

Really honest and lovely thing to read despite the sad subject matter, thank you. It got me very emotional, and I relate to your younger-self's space walk; you can't lose their game if you don't play it. Also sorry you were named Moo Cow.

This was a beautiful read and always interesting to me as an only child. I see your Goatlynn and raise you my dad's reasoning for my name: It reminded him of Anna Nicole Smith.

My "furbies against fascism" sticker is on my pocket journal so I look at it every day!!!
That + keeping away animals who attack or steal garden food. Respect to gardeners
Never had a problem with that thankfully. I think the squirrels in my yard find enough pizza crusts etc. that they don't bother my veggies
It is fr so exhausting!! I just do some weeding and I am in pain!!
stop the pizza crusts made me cackle 😭
Just remember it always looks worse before it looks better! (mine has been looking worse for nearly 6 years)
