asking you this because you're the only person who i think would know this, but is there any chance you know of a way to play .XMs in the browser? or is it a smarter approach to just render out MP3s?

i am not the person but it is probably better to just render mp3s
not sure why you're attempting that other than looping songs perfectly or size, but the modarchive player could work for that
not sure if they'll let you use it so ask on the modarchive forum
