These posts always make me think I made the wrong choice trying to tackle Water Margin rather than Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but also that I need to get back to it.

Is that Outlaws of the Marsh? I actually have a copy of that! I had a hard time with it and never finished... probably because I was still in high school, and it didn't have a popular video game franchise to familiarize me with the characters. But I've thought of tackling it again. Just need to rescue it from my dad's place first.

I've been picking away at the Canterbury Tales for over a year now. I am down to the last tale and I CAN TASTE IT.

...Except it's 45 pages of straight sermon, huh boy. For reference, the Manciple's Tale was maybe 6 or so and had the decency to at least rhyme.

Hey, don't thank me, thank... Miela's stomach ache I guess? I'm pretty sure I thought "wow, this person was nice enough to offer a well-wish". And then I also liked your site, so really you're winning on two counts.

Not only will I excuse it, I welcome it! Also, thanks for the compliment, quite fond of your wit and words as well, keep it coming.

That's not bad to hear at all. I'm going to dig into it more this weekend, but had a small suspicious it could become a "start over, start over" style game, which can be frustrating in such a text-dense game, no matter how sharp the writing. I'll turn it back on without a resigned sigh thanks to this message, thanks!

I know this is an older post, but I played Citizen Sleeper last year, and I adore it! The early game is certainly the nastiest part, but once you've established yourself in the station, it's actually pretty easy just to keep yourself alive without real worry. Super recommend it, genuinely one of the best games of the year from 2022.
Hey thanks! I like your summaries of the classics. Also, Hurrah for goofy ****! 😁
