for new year's we're going to my partner's family party where they do a white elephant. there's some MAHA-type people in her family who are all worried about "food additives" so I'm bringing a bag of MSG as my gift 😂

Such a lovely blog post! I am very much a fan of keeping the memories of those gone still alive by talking about them! My mom's been gone for over 20 years now but Best Son and I still bring her into conversations - "Oh, Granny would've liked this!" - or "Remember when..."
