It's good to know someone still has the monstrous klaxons hooked up to ZOOP every time I do something on here!! I should use this site for something, it was a cool layout and FORMAT and all of that. I think I will now waste the day remaking it in the new LUS 2023 image all the LUS fans have been clamouring after all these years. Thank you for your continuing weekly donation, doctor nononsense. : )
please, dr. nonsense is my father! call me his majesty lord excellence nonsense
I just did a check of a few reviews I remembered had received comments on our website and discovered, like you said, they are now gone.
I logged into their website. All the comments are still there. I suspect it has something to do with timing. Your comments on my latest review are there but comments from before the new year are gone. Maybe it's because we're cheapskates and don't pay for the service?
Very possible. I have the same situation; can see old comments in the dashboard, but not on the articles themselves
I dunno, Weirdy Wordy is pretty consistent. Also looking forward to more Books In A Dumpster...It is ok to relax sometimes! If it makes you feel guilty, then use what you gain from it to inspire the writing.
it's a very big cup that was proposed to be created at the 1982 drinker's association annual meeting
Is that the cup Australia’s prime minister, Bob Hawke, used when he entered the Guinness Book of World Records for sculling beer?
I'm only familiar with about half the words you used, but yes, yes it is
Also having this problem — thanks for the tip! Do you know of a workaround or is it just broken?
Thanks, Pret! I saw that neo had dropped ".html" on pages but didn't make the connection that it might have thrown a wrench into htmlcommentbox. I guess going forward the comments on new posts will work as they should, and the old stuff is lost to the hot, burning furnace of time
If that’s the case, one solution could be to copy the comments to those pages manually. Depends on how much you want it I guess
i want it just slightly more than zero
More on this. I checked the Comment box website again and found there is a way to transfer comments to a new URL. Preternaturally was right. I chose a Terry Pratchett review that had a comment and transferred it from the old URL with the .html to the same URL without it and my comments appeared back on the page immediately. So, that's the solution!
