PSA: Angelfire seems to have died. Tripod is up and down. Lycos (who owns those domains) had a message on their home page a week ago stating those 2 domains would be shutting down in the next 30 days and to move your hosting elsewhere - then hid the message less than a day later (you can see it still in the HTML). If there's a Tripod site you like, that domain is up and down. You might be able to access and save it.

@oopsiedoodle - Fouquet didn't make very many tiaras but he made lots of other jewelry. So much eye candy! Very typical Art Nouveau and just so lovely.

I've got two cats, one is a male tuxedo, so I'm sure you know, just how strange they can be. Mine is very skittish, but at the same time sweet, and lovable, while also torturing my other cat constantly, by jumping, or chasing her, or blocking her from eating.

@divergentrays, im a metal head so kitties are must, I kid. but yes, i have two rescues, and love them to death, quirks and all. I'll have to post some photos of them soon.

Love the cross stitch. Knowing nothing about cross stitch... Could you make your own? I make knitting patterns sometimes in spreadsheets. It's basically just pixel art. Maybe you could try that! Also like the idea of the Other Almanac, I might have to grab one.

@oopsiedoodle - I could make my own! I could go old school and trace something or there are programs where you can load in a picture and it will create a pattern. Was seriously thinking of just taking stoner album art and running it through one of those.

Archive Team on Internet Archive did archive Angelfire in 2019 but those files are locked. They haven't touched Tripod. There are individual pages on Wayback Machine but the quality of the save isn't always great.
That's so sad to hear, those hosts have been around for such a long time. :'( I hope as much can get saved as possible before they're gone forever
