Man, this really sucks. I heard from someone a while ago that Neocities only does the bare minimum to keep the site running, and that seems to be true. I hope I don't truly need their help anytime soon, and I can't even switch web hosts without losing all the friends I made on here. (Yeah there's ways to keep in touch, but the feed we're talking in now is part of what makes Neocities work so well. Fuck!)

From what I have heard, neocities is basically run by just one guy. Maybe there is some kind of support department, but the github org only lists a single person.

Ï've seen people keep the neocities site and then make it redirect to their new domain to keep this feed as well, if you get to that point

I'm really not comfortable migrating to nekoweb :( I hope I can stay on neocities. The 10 comments cap is a common complaint nowadays, perhaps collectively contacting about it might do something. Might send an email

I thought of migrating to nekoweb, I think I like it more than neocities but the lack of the feed with messages just holds me back. Neocities' github also looks quite dead which is just sad cause there's a lot of place for improvement and this site could be really awesome

Unfortunately my site's going to stay quiet for a bit. Still waiting for my new 3D scanning setup to arrive in the mail, as well as new carving blocks because I ran out of wood to carve. Both will probably take longer too because of the snowstorm that's about to obliterate half the country. Guess I'll go do my taxes or watch YouTube or some shit
