About migrating to Nekoweb, the only thing I think I’d really miss is the comments system... Other than that, it really does seem better, and Neocities blocking external API requests behind a paywall is such a bummer.

Everyone judges what makes a good button differently, I suppose. I don't like mine aesthetically speaking, but I like that I can easily read the text. I find the text in yours too hard to read on certain screens, mostly because there are too many details around the characters so it's hard for me to make out what it says.

Anything that can make the text contrast with its surroundings can help with that. E.g. a shadow, outline stroke, a stripe across the image, etc.

oh there is a limit on comments in here too omg, i was saying this reminds me of a show called dr who where they have a different supernatural/sci-fi case each week and there was an ep on S3 specifically Ep 10 where they saw what they call a weeping angel, maybe you've heard of them before but.. they're angels! in a way! thought it might interest you

oh my goodness ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ im sooo happy you appreciate that album, it's one of my favorites, my favorite song off of it is "i'm transmitting tonight" it's always space to return to, it reminds me of an empty gray plane. thank you for telling me about the weeping angels, i looked more into them and i do like them quite a lot ^_^ and i find their concept very interesting. you're always welcome to return .
