@feralasar it's not bad, it's got a couple of features I like, the community veers a lot younger though and I think teenagers are typically annoying

Honestly the fact the Devs thought having that cat chasing cursor on the homepage prevented me from going any further. I just assumed a lot of the sites had gimmicks like that

Sure is! I have my username parked there, but I am... also uninterested in socializing with teenagers. There are some things I found grating, but it's good to have more kinds of spaces.

Heads-up, I'm going to be moving to Nekoweb because I like some of its features over Neocities's- The domain will remain the same, and I will keep the Neocities site up as well :)

It's still great to see more options for free web hosting of static pages popping up. Not only it gives users more variety but it also means the whole act of getting back to personal sites over social media becomes more common!

tfw sadgrl's site was a whole library of resources (including other layouts) but people just orbit to her layout builder... It's actually a pretty versatile layout, but I see less people use it as an actual base and just don't even bother changing the colors or background.

Oh no I see what you mean about the new people, thats very disappointing bc this site isn't fucking twitter, and people shouldn't be treating it like it is. Also yeah it sucks that people are only drawn in by a ' pretty layout ' too, and ignore the sites actual content.
