i cant get the fullpage bgs to actually scale the way they should on mobile. Mmm

I just checked my WHATverse pages and they're on background-size: cover which seems to work on mobile.

there's also the kludge I used on Neopets -- make a class for images with 100% 100% width / height, fixed position, and super negative Z index and just drop an image at the start of your code with that vs. using a body background. you can also make the image unselectable to complete the illusion

hmm it may be my device making them look wonky but it seems like the bgs for like my webmaster page dont cover if i set it to background-attatchment: fixed; :{ i may try the dropping an image since not many pages will have a full bg

You put it into words. I hate posting art on social media, even ones I use like Tumblr/Bsky. I feel most comfortable existing and interacting with others on gallery sites, even if most users are less social there. I love how things won't "break containment" via reblogging on somewhere like FA.

Side7 is my prioritized site but tbh I WILL bat for FA despite its issues, I appreciate that despite slowly modernizing with tag blacklisting and whatnot, it still feels like a 2005-2010 site with the lack of reccs and algorithmn.
