I largely agree, the NFT nonsense is getting out of hand and it absolutely needs to stay out of gaming. But for crypto to catch on I feel it needs to go through this awkward period of novelty before being taken seriously, much like the early Internet I suppose.
I pray Facebook's metaverse is dead on arrival and becomes the biggest piece of vaporware ever produced. They've already aided in ruining the real world, providing them a blank slate in the digital realm is the stuff of nightmares.
