heads up to anyone who uses discord to host files : they're possibly starting to change filenames and that won't be possible anymore soon, so get any files you've got hosted there backed up elsewhere asap.

grain of salt since the source is someone who'd been talking to discord staff not staff themselves, but i don't see why they'd lie about it. https://www.tumblr.com/twilight-sparkle-irl/729709589006860288/official-comment-from-a-pluralkit-dev-on-the?source=share files are not being deleted, they are just changing urls to discourage hotlinking
in any case i'd recommend looking into alternatives anyways just as good practice since discord isn't a cdn to begin with

yeahhh ive been seeing the queries at the end of urls while working on my site the past few days, i thought removing everything helped... o_o this sucks
