Thinking about coming back to this, I'm not sure where I'd go with it since I can't use my book characters for it. I can create new ones and adjust this story to fit the "universe" since I'm already looking at two other mediums (and got the greenlight a while back to pursue one of them wooo, need to check on that.) There are so many forms this story can take!

I'll probably switch Damian back to Theo, and give Vera/Sonya and Nate other names. There's a character in the book named Saki who might actually be incredible for a 90s character, but might be a tad early in the timeline. Spy docs could be cool if I want to follow certain plots, like cold war era. Ahhhh, so much inspiration.

I also have more unique creature designs, away from the clean and simple one I had for the OG one in Nate's (Haru) room. I should draft those up but I'm... not great at drawing and super rusty now. C'est la vie

I will say, the characters and story itself has matured a bit. I might be able to still write dorks in their early 20s, their book personalities are a tad different, and they're pretty loose here. Mental health plays a MAJOR role in the book, and I worry about handling that properly for such a wuick moving medium. I should write all of this in my blog page, oops. I'll think up some new things for the site soon :D

Absolutely unrelated to the site, I'm bingeing Dropout shows and "Don't Cry" on Game Changer made me cry with Up, without seeing it. Absolute menaces orz
wow I haven't looked at this in ages, I actually started writing a book for this instead. So many changes to the characters ahhhh

oh the writing is so GOOFY, I've learned a lot in nine months. I'll probably revisit the dialogue, journals, etc. I'd like to make some Orrie, Felix, and Polly pages tooo ahhh

turns out I did NOT return to coding because I am at 82k words in my novel lmao I'd like to do more with the site tho. I'd love to share text from the novel but after all of this work I feel like I should actually try to query and pitch it orz

hil-arious of me to be excited about the 82k words written here since they were probably all CUT during edits lmaooo. Pieces of them survived but by golly it's a whole darn other book (two actually, bc I had to split it in half, then wound up STILL getting to 120k and I'm trying so hard to finish it without cutting too much)

I have been writing for days orz I have 22k words of a Wistaria novel now because I cannot focus on one hobby, but I'm going to return to coding soon, especially now that I have a sense of the bigger story beats.
