im worried that the USPS will cease operations, as ive been hearing so many rumors about it. im concerned because many merch sellers rely on USPS for affordable shipping

if it costs less to ship it combined with the money used to actually produce the merch, then the price tag for the merch can be lower so as to be more affordable to others while still making a profit
