as the idea of dead internet theory slowly becomes more and more true with the rise of bots to push media (its not fully true just look at neocities) I think we should make something that leaves a mark
For PHP and MySQL, while I'm still not amazing at it, I learned through https://w3schools.com as I did with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The big thing is making sure you actually can retain the info, but also syntax and some basic functions. If you have a laptop, locally host something to test. If you have a VPS, you can also use that for testing or for public-use even in some cases.
Neocities, forbidding PHP/MySQL from being used or anything like that, forces you on pure-static websites. I'm sure heavy JS may allow it to work otherwise, but otherwise you're kinda stuck without it. If you're interested in Python, Java, C, or another language then it's very likely on W3Schools as well. If not, find where it is I guess lol.
For C in specific, I also have "C In A Nutshell" (2nd edition) in my library, 803 pages long but I think it'll help me well so I'll use W3Schools and that book for my advantage there. Its even harder to do C than PHP because I have to figure out how to force myself to need it and then learn it, PHP I had a clear goal just not a way to keep the info for a while (same for JS btw)
By the way, I am also interested in your radio station! I radio surf on my cassette, looking for weird things from equally weird people good and bad. Making your own radio station is amazing!
Neocitiesverse would be cool as fuck. Or perhaps, Neocities is already a verse :3
I keep noticing that my flesh, in itself, is anarchic. It has freckles in random places, moles, and tiny hairs that only I usually see. Isn't that wonderful, though? That's a part of being human. To be human is to be different
I keep writing beautiful things in places I shouldn't be. I should be working, yet my work makes me feel like I'm not allowed to be creative.
