Awesome website! I read the note on gender-critical ideology and was quite pleased. As a trans man, it's quite hard to explore radfem places, despite being one. In recent years radical feminism has become synonymous with trans-exclusionism. I find it weird, as all people that are read as women in society experience misogyny, even if they’re trans women.

And I don't, because I'm read as a man and treated as such. Radical GCs would tell me that I do experience the same discrimination as cis women, simply because of my biology. But that’s not the case. Being seen as a man, I actually experience quite a bit of privilege. That take is simply out of touch with how the world works. People don't need to look at genitals to choose to treat you as a man or a woman.

Discrimination is much more complex. Nice reading, thank you for sharing, and thank you for the follow! 💗

I'm very happy that you found something of value in my archives, and I really appreciate you sharing your experience 💞 it really is a problem with people's ideas not conforming to reality — something that we could all overcome if we learned to listen and care for others outside of our bubbles and seek out knowledge of their lived experiences

as a [redacted] I agree that discrimination is complex. I'm pretty sure I am experiencing it even from activists who claim to support me, but the reality in their actions suggests otherwise. I do wish that the experiences of trans men were elevated to a level of adequate analysis instead of being just an afterthought; it would advance the understanding of the world we live in and the world we want to build ❤️
