looks like we've ended up inspiring each other! i think that's one of the best things about neocities to be honest, i never expected that page to attract so much attention either. looking back, i'm really glad i decided to prioritize the pages that people seemed to enjoy the most. i definitely don't regret that decision! thank you so much for the kind words! i'll definitely come visit your site again :)
i love the idea of incorporating game mechanics you enjoy into your website!
i really like making these kinds of homages too!
i'm not usually much of a novel reader, but the way you've organized your book reviews with their covers actually made me want to look for translated versions and give them a try!
i'm also curious to see what games you'll add to the site!

Omg thank you for the kind words it really means a lot. Sadly ive been having a hard time implementing games on my site. Mainly I wanted to host PICO-8 and TIC-80 games but writing HTML around the game window after exporting proved challenging. I still plan on doing it some day but for now I'm gonna work on adding more art and zines :) Thank you so much!
