Unfortuntely, true, 4 hours from that mess now, 5 free days to figure shit out. Absolutely lost without my dog.
Think I'ma be on this struggle bus for a bit yet and I'd like to update a blog more like social media, without being social media and clogging up the newsfeed - any good/easy methods to accomplish this on Neocities? Think: Tumblr style or similar. Login or whatever, just type, and have it posted and archived. Wordpress was good at this.

I’d recommend using bearblog.dev or something similar. You can then use the rss feed it provides and have a little JavaScript magic auto populate the posts to your neocities site.

Secured a place to crash for the foreseeable future. An abandoned house about 500 yards in the woods behind the current residence of an aquaintances father. Super sketchy, totally abandoned for almost 20 years. There's deer bones under the floor panels in the entry way of the trailer and there's rotting food in the fridge.

Definitely used to be a party house, all kinds of paraphernalia and empty cans/bottles, everything was in a state of chaos and disarray when I first arrived. I'm working at cleaning it up and getting settled. But there's running water and a full bathroom that kinda works. Room for my dog to get the zoomies out. It's a goddamn far drive from civilization though.

Just gotta get something going to afford the fuel bill to get back/forth to town, for shopping and potential jobs etc. Grateful for the universe doing what it does, how it does it.
