I agree, Linux still isn't very new-user-friendly and still has a long way to go to becoming a mainstream OS, especially with the majority of features it lacks and being more of an "advanced" OS in general, no matter the distro.

I have to use Windows 11 on work and it's awful in terms of customization; the only customization you can make to the taskbar is "Have The Button's On The Left Or In The Centre". No "small taskbar icons" option, no "combine taskbar buttons" option... I work in software development so I know how decisions like that are made, but that's awfully user-unfriendly and is just a schmuck thing to do.
