Lovely website! The various themes are an especially nice touch. I found your writing about giving up on software engineering very relatable. In particular, your wish for a comfortably simple life, your sentiments regarding greatness, and the apparent contradiction between the two. I hope it's not too pessimistic; obviously software isn't for me but I do hope that great people will continue to push the field forward!

After I finish, I'm gonna compile them all together into a single document that's been edited and is easier to read. It feels good to be this close to finishing something I started in community college. Crazy something so short in comparison to the thousands of pages I've put in personal novel projects not on this website has still consumed so much of my thoughts over the last 7 years of my life

RIP to a legend. The musician and DJ Kavinsky, who produced some of the best synthwave around, has passed away at 50. I have a great deal of respect for him as an artist, and the world is a smaller place with his loss.
