omg i did something like this (the cell culture protocol) for class this semester... we were studying the cell cycle using a FUCCI system!!! pretty pages as always!!!

this is incredible. i also do cancer cell culture and you captured the balance of routine and reverence perfectly. i've been doing this for years and still feel the awe you describe when looking into the microscope. also love seeing science through an artistic lens like this
