ok hopefully smallening the bg images did something. i think i may need to become a supporter, my image heavy lifestyle is using SO MUCH bandwidth. though i am concerned about these rumors of sites getting wiped randomly, I am planning more horror themed art which will contain gore and/or nudity and i dont want to spend money on supporter just to have my whole site wiped :{

i know i have to make the filesize of my images smaller, i have a good program for doing so, but the problem is i am a fool and didnt do that from the beginning and there are sooo many images now. (it would probly help a ton to just shrink the bg images)

i use GIMP for image manipulation. it has a plugin called BIMP which can be used to batch resize images. installing the plugin isn't very straightforward but it is relatively simple to use and may save some time for repetitive resizing if you have some experience with GIMP already.

@roguepebble yeah, i've seen some posts here and there, but since no one puts in plain english what exactly they had on their site its hard to know for sure what the situation is.
