Well, I hit 1.5k... never in my life I imagined I would hit this. I also know I said I would close the profile, but part of me wishes to keep it up for a bit longer... I did dread popularity in any socials I've had, but I'm still accepting that this is the fate of any online artist: you gotta be found by others if you want to be seen

I'm a complete mess right now, both ecstatic and panicking, but I'm gonna hope things are only going up from now <3 Sending many hugs and love to everyone who has supported me up to now.
Congrats!! Your work does deserve all the attention it's getting, even though it is scary that all online artist roads lead to this outcome. I personally don't think it's overwhelming to have this much attention specifically for Neocities, especially with the daily post limit and how respectful every user is on this site by default. (The bar to learn HTML and such filters out the problematic ppl.) But it's up to you!
@tabf5 That is very true, yeah. I guess I can't help but overthink things a little. I've had a bit of a talk on the topic with some friends, and I think I may leave the profile open for now. I just need to take it slowly and not let the weeds get in the way of my mental health :] It can be a turning point to something great!
