hey… I have a question. do selectively mute people comment and talk online? sorry if this sounds stupid, but I’m making a selectively mute character and I want to make it the best I can.

I'm pretty sure they do!! I've heard that most do not talk, but have the ability to write, use a TTS or use sounds such as grunting and body language!!

here’s a silly fact about me: when I was little, I had issues saying my r’s, and a lot of problems with the words, well, word and world. so just imagine a little me running around saying “wold! Wold! WOLDDDDD!!!” trying to say world. I got it down, but it’s still funny to me!

oh hey I had that same problem. funny thing is, my most vivid memory of it is when in grammar class on 1st grade I got a bad note for not pronouncing it right cuz we were having classes about the letter R.

i had trouble with my r's too! My parents told me about how i would try to say "sprinkles" but instead i would say "spinkles" Just wonderful :')
