A bit of underworld geology eh? The fact that some might see that as an actual system of magick is not too surprising. The death-worship cults have existed throughout most of human history. The altars of worship and the sacrifice rituals might not be as obvious as within previous generations, but they are essentially the same (e.g.: the creation of weapons and the fomenting of war in order to produce mass casualties)
That was precisely the type of thing that I was going to mention in reference to your blog post on "pyrodemonism" too. I think the integrative dialectical process that you've noted within Metamodernism is useful in healing some of the ideological rifts that perpetuate "the beast system" on an international scale. Further, I think that recovering the affects of sincerity and kindness is not only possible...
...but necessary if we are to survive as a species. I've been trying to heal those same rifts as they play out psychologically within the individual and small groups. This is partly why I had mentioned Logotherapy; it gives a useful insight into how a "will to power" (Nietzsche) can feedback into a "will to pleasure" (Freud) to the point that violence itself is fetishized. "Libidinal investment".
There are many dimensions to it, but that seems to be a core mechanism by which death itself is perpetuated across generations (e.g.: myth/history as a form of "hero worship" that gives motive to acts of violence)...There are many other connections that I would like to convey, but doing so in any concise or useful fashion will take some time. Some of it might just sound downright bizarre as well.
At the very least, I hope that you've felt the sincerity behind the kindness that I've clumsily attempted to show you throughout my comments here. Despite the darkness that all too clearly envelops this world, I remain ever hopeful and humbly work towards its redemption. Cheers for the help.
@letslearntogether but why be concerned with the survival of a species? extinction is a promise. im curious as to what human survivalist intend to do in the hypothetical where we somehow break the cycle of extinction that all living things experience. and i'm also curious how the interpretation of our own actions as kind and sincere would thwart this process?
@letslearntogether while i understand and agree with the sentiment of manufacturing weapons for mass casualties i think there's a more honest perspective looming that it's mostly driven by my own animal desire in living and is an investment in manifesting such. magical systems and animal thinking can be a separate experience

it's weird as hell but one day if possible i'd like to do a comparative study on the o9a and the TOB's conception of sacrifice to the ancient aztecs since both of these organizations have completely ignored what i consider the most significant form of human sacrifice
@axayacatl - This conversation exists within a larger context, but to very broadly address your questions: All people are motivated by their beliefs, even those who claim to have none. Likewise, an action that is interpreted as both kind and sincere by its recipient is always welcome.
As for me, I will continue to operate under the assumption that all life is precious, including yours little water bug! Please don't be so quick to condemn yourself and everything else to extinction.
