the tree is looking great! ireland has suffered a similar fate with our trees from pine plantations. it's wonderful to see someone so enthusiastic about their own local ecology halfway around the world!

@childhood-country thank you !! it always feels good to support the local trees and animals in any small ways I can. I am bummed to hear about your trees in Ireland. The oaks here make me think of Irish blackthorns and shillelaghs. I wish I had more time and tools to try to and make something like that out of oak.
