Thank you so much! That's what I was going for! Someday I'll get the skills to be able to add more nostalgic sounds around the site :3

https://strawpoll.com/kogjR8Pp2g6 Ok I made another poll! Clippy (and company) were added with the last release, as that was a popular request. Please vote! I've also fixed the bug report tool, in case you were trying to submit a bug.

i see matrix scrolling, I follow! A slight tip on the digital rain which might be fun for coding, the original digital rain had the characters/katakana mirrored!

Glad you enjoy! Tried to capture some of the frustrating things like the rundll, BSODs and internet explorer errors to channel that :p

Going back to dev from before Windows 99 (Late 2024). Revisiting an old project. https://d2w9rnfcy7mm78.cloudfront.net/46326096/original_2149b0e7d1c263c86f8db8297ef7559e.png?1779213477?bc=0

i should preface, the reference image on the right is one of the GOAT: Cave Noire. Some say it's rouge-like (god I hate that genre name). It was a japanese-only GB game released in 1991, before Link's Awakening! It is such a beautiful game, and I am trying to faithfully recreate it and expand it into a very cool experience. If Konami ain't gonna revive this game, I might as well try to.

i should also say, the game I made, Interval Odyssey ->intervalodysseygb.neocities.org also had a music sequencer and was supposed to have music theory "tests" between levels. This was my educational attempt at teaching chord recognition. You can play an early javascript build inside Windows 99's Internet Explorer bookmarks (if you dare).
