I will post this question up on the website as well, soon enough, but I will put it here first. Do you guys have any piece of internet folklore? Any interesting stories? It could be from an online game, forum, imageboard, BBS (for you oldheads), and all sorts. The more obscure the better (but include even more well known ones, I might not know them!)

I might. Can you give an example of what you consider to be "internet folklore?" Are we talking, like, the elevator game or something?

You might want to look up UTV and The Archivist, as well as The Philmarillion. It's a crazy story, with a lot of mystery.
Also, the fall of image anime chatroom Olichat might be of some interest to you. It's how a person (or several persons) launched an eight month campaign to kill a chatroom through the use of American comicbook characters, clandestine spam attacks, and an unintentional DDoS.
