This really resonated with me. Reminds me of something that a friend said at Bible study that has really stuck with me: It's funny how scripture constantly reminds us, 'Bless the Lord!' Yet, we seem to be convinced that God is the only one who capable of blessing. The truth is, we can bless Him through worship and prayer. (This is probably too complex to squeeze into a comment, whoops.) All that to say, (1)
I have also been moved to think about my prayer life more deeply recently. I think it was God's way of preparing me for some difficult situations that have arisen since then; had my prayer life not improved, I wouldn't have dealt with these things with much grace. Seems like He's done that for you, too, as you've witnessed to your coworkers. God is so wise + so good, and He knows what our souls need. (2/2)
Loved it. It really inspired me to add a bit more prayer into my day-to-day life. I've neglected it for so long.
