We switched to Linux (Mint) and for some reason our PC's screen resolution became bigger despite staying the same on paper (1920x1280). Don't ask me how that happened. Either way they way our screen displayed our site on Windows looked entirely incorrect for everyone else with the same screen resolution so we fixed that up along with some other quality of life updates.

Remember to check out Mint's update and driver manager programs, maybe updating the kernel to a more recent version could solve issues too. Have fun experimenting!
