I know little about web design, so I thought I would let you know I used your Penny's Pages and realised I could personalise a 404 page. Thanks. At the moment, it reads: "if you have not removed the page, you can access, and edit it". Maybe you could edit the text to say that if you have deleted the file you can still create a new file called not_found.html to create that page. I realised I could do this.

a few things like bug of the week are not going to look like that if i use it, content is just slapped in there right now.

I quite like the look of it (the ASCII art is cute), I think that it might look better if you used your normal background (bg1.png), also, is it just me, or does the OwlMan banner look a little fuzzy?

Also, if you rename home.html to index.html, it will mean that people will be able to view /v2/ without getting a 403

oh, thank you! i always wondered how you made the folder a link, instead of needing the .html! i fixed the banner also... https://bugland.neocities.org/v2/ is this nicer?

Nice title. I'll have to look at the layout a little more, later. But I can say that some buttons look fuzzy, this is because you defined the width and the height(in this case that don't match the image, causing subpixel rendering/interpolation error). You shouldn't need to do this. Oh, and maybe remove the 0.9em font-size in body, it makes the text more accessible and easier to read, for me, at least.

thank you joppie (and owlman)! i fixed the buttons and changed the 0.9em :o i thought the random image was a neat idea, glad it comes across well. i don't know if i'll change things yet, this one has a lot less compatibility issues and is clearer though which was the intention. we'll see!

well i do like your site, the punchy colours are good in my opinion, i used to do a lot of bug hunting as a kid.

but i don't really know what to say about layout, i do use HoTMeTal pro 5 to do my HTML, which gives 3 or 4 different views while the user is coding, but rarely think about layout as such and compared to some other amazing neocities pages, I think my pages are very basic looking.

i think it's okay to have basic coding to be fair, i was mainly thinking of my content! since it's meant to be informative (as well as fun), i imagine information is best taken in when clear. i noticed in some circumstances my old layout broke so i thought a change might be good. i don't really use anything in particular to code, so maybe that will be an okay program to try!

it must be said though, bug hunting is definitely one of the best parts of childhood! (that, and video games...) i remember i used to especially love looking for woodlice. :p
