How viable of a YouTube competitor is Rumble in your opinion? Just curious as we are trying to locate new hosting sites for our videos

RIP, guy was a vet clearly not doing so well mentally after the war. Found him on a last hour search a month or two ago. Hopefully the similar YT users I keep an eye out on don't end up like this...

Youtube is crazy, back in the days i uploaded a ton of edited mr bean clips, one got taken down for having copyrighted music in it later on. I deleted that channel a time ago and decided to reupload, this time adding some noise to make the music hard to detect in that clip. It detected it anyways and told me it was fine, it will be viewable. Rest of the clips are not due to video copyright. WTF?

and Nuclear Blast Records took down a video i uploaded because it had the same artwork and lenght as the upcoming Carcass album - the songs were made up by me however. Man i will never understand this website.

Imagine if they put half the effort of censorship and being copyright goons towards keeping something like child oriented videos safe. Somehow this video is labeled as "made for kids" (try adding to a playlist and you'll get the notif) despite their algorithm clearly being able to pick up on the schizoid fueled profanity, or at the very least the title https://youtu.be/m7IjLlohU3M

In reality there is nothing to understand about this site, they just make up and change the rules as they go, at the expense of screwing over entire channels and genres of videos.

I use it, it is probably the closest to youtube, but sometimes it takes a lonnnnnnnng time for them to "check" the video for monetization (which needs to be done before it pushes a video out in the algorithm), some videos get views, others get zero, it's weird
You could host the mp4 on github pages idk
