I'm surprisingly close to getting things ready for release. I'm feeling kinda sick out of anxiety :'] Some things won't look perfect right out of the bat, and I won't really manage to do everything I want in a single release, so yeah. Be prepared tomorrow!

Yayy, I'm glad! ^^ It's gonna be a progressive overhaul of the site. For now, I'll grace you folks with a brand new enter page, homepage, and sometime after the domain transition, the new about! I've been also collecting some fun graphics for an improved graphics page

Guys, I need help with an approach I may use on my next pages that involve hovering over gifs. Which video formats do you guys know that support transparency? I need to convert my gifs to em, so I can use the video tag. It doesn't break on Firefox, so ye

movs (quicktime) support transparency, but I don't know if that transparency carries through in a element.

@omnipresence I tried using mov files, but they didn't work super well- they were glitchy, and the transparency didn't work out super well. I ended up using WebM with a transparency codec and FFmpeg's help
I'm passing by to warn (and also apologize) about the delay in closing the site. I ended up caught up in other things, and got in the kick for animating a short. I should hopefully get it done by Wednesday next week.

@robophobia Yeah, I actually am! It's technically the course I wanna go for in university, but until then, it feels nice to stretch my legs on it a little ^^ I've started messing with it back in 2016, and kept it as a hobby since then. This current project IS a bit bigger tho... more than my usual little gifs

That's so cool! For me Animation is a lotta hard work but it feels so rewarding cuz seeing your art like, move and animate and feel kinda alive is a really cool feeling.

@robophobia yeahh, I can definitely relate to that, seeing the funky movements and bouncy animation fills me with serotonin! I used to animate a lot more in the past too... but tbh, it's great to be back at it with a much better mindset <3

I'm stuck with a ridiculous issue on my ENTER page... the background just won't re-scale as I increase or decrease the page zoom. This is serious, since people with larger displays won't have it covering their whole screen.

What new host will you be using for your new site? I'm curious to know if it would be any better than neocities.

@inkspriteinscriptions I'm using infinityfree! I got my domain with my dad's help at GoDaddy, and could host it there. They offer 5 GB of space, iirc, and you can host dynamic pages there too (like PHP and MySQL stuff). Tho you need to renew your SSL certificate every 3 months, but that's chill
I'll be moving the webrings too... hopefully also getting into some cool ones I remember seeing. I still have a crap ton of work to do... but I'm proud. I'm satisfied of what I got.
And yet again... thank you all so much for all the help, all support and enjoyment of my work. There was a time when I got really close to scrapping all of it. I'm technically redoing my site, but with a brand new mindset.
