I may finally be dusting off one of my pages with the tea quiz- I'm pretty much done with the results, I'll just need to plan out the Cafรฉ page next. It shouldn't be too hard to assemble, since it's meant to be a simple page

Okay folks, I need to know- can any of you test it for me and see if it's working? I turned off something in my site settings for SSL and reissued the certificate. Is it still giving issues?

Bizarrely still broken for me. Same error, that the cert is "SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG." I have no idea why. :/

@keysklubhouse One of my friends was having issues too, I remember it was because their browser was too secure or something. Though my main guess is that it started off with my host updating it's dependencies. One of the mods told me to be patient until things settle

Okay, to some of you folks that were having issues with the site not loading for you... I tried reissuing the certificate, hopefully this does the trick. If not, I definitely will need some ideas :']

My theory is that my SSL certificate refreshed recently, and needs a few days to be validated. I remember experiencing some difficulties with it back then

I felt like documenting the milestone in the changelog! I hope to add some little buttons next to the navbar showing which pages have stuff to click on, and which are still being worked on...

Congrats on the milestone! :D You should know that at least for me (Windows 11, Opera GX) your site is giving a security error and won't let me visit.

Edit again: Okay so if I turn on my VPN it's fine, but without it I can't get through. Maybe it's something with Spectrum. :I " Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to ninacti0n.art. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. I didn't touch the certificate in a while, so I have no idea if that's the case here... I may need to ask for some tech support on my host

Well, I hit 1.5k... never in my life I imagined I would hit this. I also know I said I would close the profile, but part of me wishes to keep it up for a bit longer... I did dread popularity in any socials I've had, but I'm still accepting that this is the fate of any online artist: you gotta be found by others if you want to be seen

Congrats!! Your work does deserve all the attention it's getting, even though it is scary that all online artist roads lead to this outcome. I personally don't think it's overwhelming to have this much attention specifically for Neocities, especially with the daily post limit and how respectful every user is on this site by default. (The bar to learn HTML and such filters out the problematic ppl.) But it's up to you!

@tabf5 That is very true, yeah. I guess I can't help but overthink things a little. I've had a bit of a talk on the topic with some friends, and I think I may leave the profile open for now. I just need to take it slowly and not let the weeds get in the way of my mental health :] It can be a turning point to something great!

I think this will be the last time I'll share my server link directly here - once I hit 1.5k, I'll disable my profile here, just because the numbers stress me out, and I feel it'll be better for me to just focus on my site and have fun. I'll also either set an RSS or a newsletter, so that you guys stay in touch ^^

I believe a mutual commented on your site and that's how I found it out. Maybe it was a snowball effect? More eyes means more traction means more eyes.
