In older iterations of my website, I'd always receive guestbook comments from other webmasters and neocities users. Nowadays I mostly receive comments from non-website-having-people. Not complaining, but I wonder what changed...?

It's happening to me too! My theory is that people read about Neocities on Twitter, and they either don't sign up or don't do anything w their site so there's no point in linking.

I vouche for that theory, I discovered Neocities from Youtube and Twitter, I spent many days exploring websites here before making one!

a lot of people have learned about neocities from places like twitter and tumblr~ i guess the community has expanded beyond the site itself, and now people from other places are exploring... i myself used to explore sites here without ever having one! (o゜▽゜)o☆

For me, personally, I just don't attach my website but for the majority of people they're probably from twitter or tumblr

Hiya, sorry for my disappearance! here is a stream of consciousness rambling about my art career, since its been at the forefront of my mind. i wonder if people read my diary.. well, if you do, this ones kinda boring but includes a kind of exciting life update!
