I will not be updating my site until I finish this Main Works page. Still spending a shitload of time on Tomodachi Life 2 instead of keeping up-to-date on my Neocities feed, but I will find balance soon enough. Eventually these Miis will HAVE to run out of entertaining shit to do. Hopefully

I often go with my Wii U when I'm going to someone since it's an ultimate party games machine. I collect everyones miis either handmade or the awful onew made using the photo functionality

Sooo... Let me tell you how my gallery page works. Theres a JSON file containing the source of the image, the source of the thumbnail and some aditional info. Then a script takes that info and adds all the pictures to the page. Guess who added new photos but forgot to also update that JSON file.... yeahhhh now the photos are up FOR REAL!!!

the amount of work for inserting gallery images rises p much exponentially with complexity. inserting like 200 images while also inserting their dates and metadata and descriptions and notes took me almost a month

I don't know - maybe we all should just go back to table layouts because flexible, responsive layouts are a pain in the butt...... then people on mobile and small screens wouldn't be happy :(

We're going back to the days of splash screens where we tell people that this 'site is best viewed at a 1024 x 768 resolution and have two different versions of the site just for a small resolution!!!!! - Was going to send a link to one of those kinds of sites here but I can't find it in my bookmarks.....

what problem specifically are you having w/ your CSS if you don't mind me asking? I know I have a lot of problems assembling my pages together similarly that make me want to just format my whole site around tables haha...

trying to make a site layout that works on several screens sounds like a PAIN. Genuinely sucks so much unless your site looks boring af like most sites do

@wackyworkbench I actually did figure it out and I'm so relived...... it's complicated to explain here since it's had a whole history in the making. That status feed on my home page? I've been changing it up in a way, I wanted the little indicator/blurb (whatever you call it) I have there at the top of the bubble instead. I had to use position: absolute for that element & make it's parent element a position: relative

- Meaning that the little indicator has `position: absolute`, and the element that it's part of has `position: relative`. I have `right: 0` to make the little blurb at the very right of the bubble, if I don't do this; it'll be at the very right of the screen instead of the area of the bubble

aw thank you! im really lazy so it takes me a while to actually knuckle(s the echidna) down and start DRAWING but id say once i do start its about 30mins to an hour for the fully coloured ones like in my about me box

Hello, I just gained the ability to comment so I wanted to thank you for following my page! I love navigating your website, the design is so clean. You are extremely correct in that the image maps I have set up for links are non-responsive. I've been trying to figure out a way to make them work but I can't make heads or tails of the existing documentation. If you have any advice I would deeply appreciate it!
