New coding tip page: "Common Mistakes"! Got fed up with bad advice being shared around here so I wrote a short page about it. I'll expand it once I have more time >.< Let me know if you have ideas for more common mistakes

love the new coding tip page! i've thought about writing a blog similar to this - its honestly so impressive what people manage to do on here using table layouts!! a small coding mistake i've seen(and used to do myself) is misuse of alt text for images and not using alt="" or aria-hidden to mark decorative images

the tips are very nice! another mistake i see pretty often is using divs for clickable stuff - this is bad for accessibility, as screen readers wont recognize them as clickable elements and you wont be able to trigger them using the keyboard (at least not without extra work) - button elements should be used instead as they come with both functions out of the box

(obvs i added your button my site!) oh and btw i'm IMPRESSED at your amount of dragons on dragon cave after only 2 years! HOW hahah, you have almost as many as me and i've been there for a decade longer xD.

✩°｡⋆⸜ ｡ HUGE UPDATE! ･:*˚:✧｡ i completely changed my sidebars, use a different font, did some performance improvements, joined some more listings/cliques and added google analytics. some existing pages (such as bookmarks) have new content, and there are 3 completely new pages! (software recs, list idea generator, and "are you bored?" button). make sure to refresh cache if you can't see changes...

so.. what's like the consensus on neocities' vistor counter? is it accurate? i somehow doubt that ~500 people visit my site every day ^^;

the visitor counter seem to be heavily inflated, I use an analytics script on my site and it usually counts around 10 unique visitors while neocities counts around 400-500 visits on the same day

im guessing it counts all files that get accessed rather than just the html pages themselves
