FC2 is a japanese site mainly used for blogging and those counters you'd see on many sites

I honestly just use a premade template and then you can edit them from there... This is a really good template to use https://admin.blog.fc2.com/control.php?mode=design&process=download&no=45460

The CSS is honestly reallyyy confusing I get it... Especially if you try to mess with any of the settings involving the plugins. If you want to add some cool custom widgets I'd reccommend the "Free Area" one where you can basically put whatever you want

I literally just noticed the free templates last night, still don't know why they buried it in settings LOL.
