A month isn't really that long to go without producing polished art of some kind I'd say. In any case I just wanted to say I admire your commitment to creating a polished experience, and ability to write about the most mundane of things in an entertaining way. Which makes me wonder, do you do some other kind of writing outside of this website?
"Art" might be overselling what I do a bit, but I appreciate the compliments. And I do! But not nearly as fun though. My day job is writing instructional documentation for software. Still a paid gig!
I am genuinely impressed by how often you update your site and how much content is on it. My site is just a trickle by comparison. I do know the feeling of "I should be writing something" all the time, but I also know that creativity is like the tide and comes and goes on its own terms.
Also, once in a state of extreme stress I almost took up stamp collecting as a hobby. I don't know how to say this in a way that doesn't offend actual stamp collectors, but if you find yourself starting a stamp collection that may be a cry for help.
I actually *did* have a stamp collection, and now that I've remembered that fact I realize it would be something good to write about. So I'm going to leave you in suspense, which is the first time a stamp collection has ever had that effect on anybody.
It's nice to have that kind of rotation where one can tinker with the code, isn't it? I get writing droughts where I have nothing to say but then feel connected to my little site by adding little things here and there. It looks like you use an SSG? I regret not doing that, meh >.<
imagine not posting on your site for over a month, lol, what kind of shit writer you'd have to be to do something like that
Yeah, after a month I think you'd have to give up writing altogether and take up stamp collecting or something
