Firstly, I want to say thanks to anyone hosting my button on their website. I really appreciate the digital thumbs up and will (eventually) return the favour on my neocitizens button wall. I’ve made a new button that (I hope) looks a little better than the old one. Feel free to use it if you prefer. P.S. I had a venus flytrap as a kid... I was mesmerized by it. Don't know what happened to it. Nice flowers.
They are one of the coolest plants ever. I always figured they grew in some exotic locale. Didn't realize they only grew along the Carolina coast until I lived in Wilmington, NC for a few years.
Well, Carolina is a pretty exotic locale to me! I think most kids grow up having at least one Venus flytrap plant. Kids love them because they're the most dramatic carnivourous plant but in those pre internet days, few people knew how to properly care for them. I know mine didn't last very long back in the day.
