This was nice to read; I enjoyed hearing about your personal experince. I have only flown eight times so I still find it to be a fun experience. However, I remember the last time looking around the plane (I don't know what type it was) and seeing all the regulars not really enjoying it so much.

It's interesting that, as you show, the cost to the environment of Bitcoin usage will increase over time. I've come across little-thought-of costs in other things, such as search-engine-usage, and also projects like Folding@home.

My oh my I knew userbenchmark was always a little misleading, but now with the 5600x you can really see it: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-5600X/1316vs4084 Despite this CPU outperforms i9 in gaming benchmarks, it isn't even on top of the list. Plus, it says "effective speed" is +25% at i5 3570k, but if you look to actual stats it's obvious that this CPU is much faster
