say, what's your opinion on super paper mario? while it's my personal favorite of the pre-retool three, i'm interested in hearing what you think of it considering how much you enjoy 1 and 2

i really liked it, it was the last paper mario game I beat! i still prefer the first two games and was initially a little disappointed the first time playing it as a kid since it was so different than the previous two, but it grew on me as i played. I'm actually trying to beat it again for the first time since launch :P i looove the character design in it, especially dimentio
YEAH it was my first paper mario game i got into (still the only one i've played but it's the one i knew the most about back then) and i had a wonderful time!! i didn't end up beating world 8 though :S
i love how the story is both a very mature for a mario game tale with high steaks and a tearjerking backstory and also just a totally bonkers comedy. it's like intelligent systems sensed they wouldn't have this sort of freedom going forward so they just went all in
