Next on Radio 4 is The Archers, followed up by Desert Island Discs where Clive Python picks his songs from his youth.

How did you get Neocities to alert you when someone comments on your website?

joppiesaus 8 years ago

https://neocities.org/settings --> Change email --> check "Receive comment emails" --> smash the button!

owlman 8 years ago

+You won't get emails for when people reply to your stuff

I have zero idea about what you're talking about

owlman 8 years ago

Oh, I said a mean comment to you ages ago about your site layout. It's nice to see that you haven't grown and updated your site layout, but you instead got upset about what some random twat said about you on the Net.

null34 8 years ago

Your web design isn't much better than mine, considering you just show some random photo on your homepage. The reason I was offended was because I was just trying something new and you had to come in and call my web design crap. I would have been fine with that if you had at least given me some constructive criticism instead of just calling me retarded.

joppiesaus 8 years ago

It's not about the quality of web design. People don't mind if you do not have a highly quality designed web page. But people don't like copies/bootlegs of other pages. I guess that's why. I'd still love to see a website designed by _you_, nonetheless. Even it's not a good one - but not a copied website.

It's okay to leave Neocities. It's also okay to be pissed off at Owlman. However it is immature as fuck to publicy hold him responsible for your website's shutdown. If you decide to go, at least leave with some dignity.

@hosma, If you make me something, I feel like I would need to pay you in cash, also, I with I could @ people

floppyjay 8 years ago

You can use any floppyjay music, and you can use music from me and my brother's band (https://mutinyexpress.bandcamp.com) if you would like. I also wish to offer original works created specifically for whatever this project is as well, but I might be too late to the party.

Those are ALL great, dude! Mine's perfect (or "Prefect"). A fav star cluster (lower left), 1982 a good year, the "Guide" drifting off and my old haunt "Millyway's" in the background. They still gimmie senior discounts on pangalactic gargleblasters there. The "Draw Flies" is a very old joke, btw. YUP, this is goin' on my fridge!!!

Dude, I really think that (above) IS a good idea (if you even read it). That li'l stunt you pulled yesterday on Web-Site-Ring & Gwta-Gacw's message boards was "odd". I know you're a snarky kinda dude, but man... alotta people read what you write (and wrote). Ya follow? They may not be so lenient like me, ya catch? You're an adult. Just be cool (like you are) and ask me directly if you have any questions, yeah?

kenny46140 8 years ago

That goes for all you guys. If you have a question or comment, just ask. I think highly of you folks.

kenny46140 8 years ago

@Strata: If you're reading this. Thanks for the follow. I really 'still' don't get that. Are you doing any driving over there? Tough when it's winter. How's school? And (importantly), How Are You?
