Thanks! I’ve taken a brief look at your website (will look more later – I have a lot to get done today!) I love the home movies. I’ve put some up on YouTube, myself. Incredible! As fellow makers of silly movies, we know the time it takes (And with kids? Wow!) balancing fun with ambition. From the writing and musical numbers to the visual effects and convincing acting (Dulcinea rejection scene!) we loved the creativity and heart. Sure is hard growing up. Such a sweet way to preserve a moment in time—something the kids will cherish (or cringe at haha) now. Thanks for sharing!

i'm curious - do you lot tell those who are close to you that you have a blog (regardless of whether or not you use an alias)? i love to talk to people about things i'm interested in - this little project included, but i don't - but it's also a safe space for me to share without being known. my blog is very much the true me that i fear will be tainted if i expose it to people who physically perceive me.

i told some friends (more like shoved the site in their face) when i first made it because i was so excited about it, but i'm assuming it's not something they think to look at if i'm not around, and i'm hesitant to bring it up to people now for the same reasons as you, + it's nice to sort of write into the void with no fear of consequences

Only my best friend knows about it and I ask that she doesn't read any of my writing whenever I send her a link. It's much easier to write/publish to strangers and bear your soul than to those you know. I don't think it's uncommon we don't want our sites percieved by people we know :) for me, it's just way too vulnerable and honest for Kevin from work to be reading it, y'know?

ive told a few friends i have a site, as well as my mom, but i've never showed them. one of my teachers knows as well bc i was working on it when we had some time left in class, but i prefer to keep it my little project where i can experiment and express myself :)

i haven’t shared this site or some of my social media with anyone i know personally. there’s something comforting about having little spaces that are just mine, quiet corners where i can just be, without the weight of expectations or questions. it’s peaceful and i think i need that sometimes

my close friends read my blog, but it's because i left social media and this is the only place where i post online now. i do find myself self censoring just a little bit, but the people irl already have a good idea of who i am internally and have seen me on worse days

i probably have around 7 people who know this site exists? and, honestly, i wish it was only 1 or 2 of them hahaha. you do risk having to censor yourself way more when you share it with others, but i was proud of what i made & it isn't the end of the world

For me I have my site linked to only 1 social media site, I doubt most of my friends look at it. I only had 1 friend really talk to me about the contents of my blog lol. I'm thinking of taking it off in the future for similar reasons to you

i've mentionned it to like 2 friends but thankfully they haven't asked for a link. knowing that they can see what i put on my site would make me self-censor A LOT more than i already do.

only my closest friends know about my blog because a few of us have talked about writing our own. we're all true to each other and don't really have to make face. besides them, i have it linked under one of my profiles online - it really doesn't matter what people think of me, both online and in person. i understand where you're coming from though.

Is it just me, or is neocities refusing to update my site despite me hard-refreshing about 100 times? Like the update preview will be there but when I actually go into my pages it won't update...

It's weird but my site seems to be updated now!!! Definitely took way way longer than usual though. Hope yours gets sorted soon (assuming it hasn't yet)
