I'm looking to possibly make a dress-up game, what is the best way to go about doing this? I was thinking about just going with HTML + CSS + JS but idk if it's possible to drag and drop accessories onto any part of the character using that method.

I was just thinking of adding some car icons to my site. So I came up with some ideas for ones to depict. Chevrolet ones as the popular American car for thrifty drivers, Cadillacs which are the luxury brand Americans admire, even though many Cadillac models were really just Chevrolet cars with more features added, and well, Lincoln is another idea as well, for a whole list of coincidental reasons.

Suzanne was the name of the wife of Louis Chevrolet, the founder of Chevrolet. Also, Cadillac was named after a historical figure who passed away on Suzanne Somers' birthday, and Lincoln was named after a president who shares a birthday with a guy who has a mother named Susannah. There ya go, some "Suzanne" synchronicity to think of.

Cadillac and Lincoln were both founded by a guy named Henry Leland, and well, two companies founded by the same guy, are now acquisitions which are part of the luxury autos divisions of two competing brands of THE BIG THREE AMERICAN AUTOMAKERS. Cadillac and Lincoln are respectively part of General Motors (Chevrolet) and Ford Motor Company..

yesss figuring it out along the way and making it up as you go along should all be part of the fun of life. lately, I've even been romanticizing certain struggles as unique experiences that are part of this strange experience of being human and it doesn't make them feel any better but it makes feeling them bearable and sometimes even meaningful!

I'm not leaving Neocities because staying on here isn't any different from how everyone is glued to worse shitholes like Twitter, but feel free to share other free alternative hosts besides Nekoweb/Leprd + have an RSS feed on your new sites so I can continue following.

I had pretty extreme schizo-tier opinions on AI in 2022, but now I've just accepted it as an evil that needs to be regulated instead of gone completely. Drakey wakey already had a Daria-themed AI chatbot for April fool's this year, so I kinda been knew he's okay with AI. As long as our sites aren't going to be scraped by him (not Google, it already does that) I can't really care.

Neocities has felt very odd lately ever since that article resurfaced. Personally, I agree with you that it's something that needs to be regulated, but as much as we try to deny this tech it's always going to exist. I'm going to keep my site here, unless something happens where they implement some kind of code generator onto the platform that was clearly built on the hardwork of the users. (1)

My personal 9/11 (joking) was when DeviantART introduced AI and initially had everyone's art opted-in for training, I hope NC never gets evil but that's my personal straw. Drake's a techbro so he's going to have a positive view on AI for other usages besides "art"/writing. I don't love the post but it's an optimistic curiosity than "art theft and deepfakes are cool" bullshit.

I noticed something, the last person to make a comment on 123guestbook before that service shut down, has Durant as a last name, as the name the user signed under. This seems intriguing because there's also a guy named William C. Durant who founded car company General Motors. More will be explained in a comment I'll make below this one.

anyway, my reason for bringing up General Motors, or GM as it's also known under, is because they acquired a car company called Chevrolet long long ago, and well, the founder, Louis Chevrolet had a wife named Suzanne, so this somehow contributes to the synchronicity. It really caught me off-guard when I noticed so many coincidental things, and all this Suzanne synchronicity even stretches into masculine things like cars, even though it's traditionally a women's first name. So, that's a testament to how it CARRES LOTS OF WEIGHT. when any references to it pop up.
