i am incredibly grateful to neocities for providing me a space to host my station site and grow my skills as a webmaster over the years. the reason for this change is to centralize operations, cut costs, and gain greater freedom and control over operations.

No, it's from Giphy, same with the background for the miniblog as well as the bats in the background of the main page. Giphy, i find, is pretty good for animated background, just be mindful that it has an AI Slop problem bc it's been around for so long and wasn't prepared for that, so be critical about it (and do what I do and recognize human artist who upload there stuff and link those!)

Giphy is basically a database of Gifs for use in web design and reaction images Now, if you wanna see MY art, go to the main page then Media>Artblog and you can scroll through some featured pieces, most of it's just drawings, but I have a couple 3D things. If you wanna see my low poly stuff, play my (downloadable) games :P

I understand Neocities keeps the feed's features purposefully bare so people can focus on their sites but I agree that a notification system would still be nice, even just for posts that are no older than a week
