Wow! Your site is phenomenal. There's too much herein to enjoy and admire that I can succinctly mention. If you've yet to see Testament, no other post-apocalyptic drama known to me compares to it. It's not a fun picture, but Jane Alexander's is one of the best performances that I've observed -- and I've observed tens of thousands.

Tysm!! Big fan of your cinematic feature surveys. I was drawn in by the 2019 one with Redline! Great stuff. Also I have seen Testament and very much agree with your assessment on Jane Alexander’s performance. The birthday scene sticks out in my mind a ton. I loved the films approach to showing living around the aftermath of nuclear blasts. The tv scene with the kids… chefs kiss!
